Sermon by bro. Williams OVEDHE
Definition
Steadfast: staying the same for a long time and not changing quickly or unexpectedly.Introduction:
Coming together in the habit of Christians in order to sharping one and other for the good works of the lord-the acts of the early Christians.II Cor.4:10 when one bears the cross of Christ he accepts the burden of the cross.
I Cor. 15:58 what God has done for us through Jesus, should move us to the bound in the work of the Lord.
II Cor. 5:10 when one realises that he will give account of his actions before his Creator, then he is motivated to do the will of the Creator, II Cor. 1:7. As we willingly suffered with Christ, we will also partake of the result of our suffering, II Pet. 3:8-9.
What God has said, He will do. What we might consider to be slowness on the part of God to fulfil His promises is not slowness. God is not slow to bring about His promise, Heb. 2:2-3.
Those who violated the law did not escape the punishment of the law, then, certainly those who sin under the law of Christ will not escape punishment, Heb. 10:23.
It is our responsibility to remain committed to that which we confessed, when we came into a covenant relationship with God through immersion, Luke 12:47. Those who are ignorance of Christ’s word will be beaten because they had no remedy for their sin that separated them from God.
